settling into a new apartment comes with the all-important task of organizing the right artwork on the walls - without that, in all honesty, you may as well be living with bad feng-shui. as part of my quest to grant new life into my aussie HQ i've been on the hunt for some snazzy artwork, and although i've found a few great pieces unfortunately some of the gallerist's down under and their approach to making a sale have been molto lamo, let's say. buying art is not for sissies! alas, yesterday i discovered this great french artist named bertrand villemot at a vintage poster store. he handled advertising imagery for everyone from bally and orangina to perrier and cinzano in his hey day. did i purchase a piece? well, let's just say i'm thinking about it, but it makes me happy to share villemot's work with you anyway...
