chicago-based artist nick cave gets my vote for funkiest art hound this week. from his appliqued taxidermy giant polar bears to hipper-than-thou sequin soundsuits and a mega-clever aesthetic when it comes to getting the best out of space allocated to his creative vision, his show at the fowler museum in los angeles knocked my socks off over the week-end. definitely one to watch...
