eight lessons in photojournalism: part one

1. define your target - in this case, ari gold's wife aka perry reeves.
2. suss out the vibe and if possible, eavesdrop on their conversation to be sure you are not interrupting a career deal.
3. sweet talk them with a smile and be sure they can detect your aussie accent. make eye contact to have them know you are sincere and utterly harmless.
4. encourage them to pose and tell them they are fab.
5. continue feeding their ego.
6. make conversation with them after the shot.
7. try for another photo in a different pose, you know, now that they are your new BFF and all.
8. get the shot of both of you together and quickly move on so no other photographer can possibly establish the same photo op.
9. the end.
