utterly gob-smacked by this one...

ten years after its initial release i finally got around to watching this film and let me tell you, this is a piece of prime film-making.
its a heavy subject so really, its not for everyone, especially those that regularly look to this blog for a splice of optimism and happiness in their day (which i know you do). for anyone out for the count however, i guarantee you won't forget this film for days. bellucci and cassel at their finest.
